Gillian Alexander

Gillian Alexander (she/her) is from Orlando, FL, began dancing at the age of two, and quickly developed an appreciation for the specificity and creativity of dance. She graduated from the Dr. Phillips High School Magnet in 2021 under the instruction of Kathy Follensbee. Gillian attended The School at Jacob's Pillow Contemporary summer program as well as Orsolina28 located in Moncalvo, Italy. At Juilliard, she performed works by Merce Cunningham, Johannes Weiland, Camille A. Brown, Sidra Bell, Caili Quan, and Bobbi Jene Smith and Or Schraiber, amongst others. She currently holds several work study positions and enjoyed her role as an Orientation Leader in 2023. Her biggest passion is exploring the boundaries of movement and capability.
